" In Memory Of Beverly W. " . . .

In a twinkling of an eye, my mother in law "changed".
In the flesh, all that she was, became a memory, wonderful memories.

In a twinkling of an eye, my mother in law "changed".
In the flesh, all she was, are now ashes and dust.

In a twinkling of an eye, my mother in law "changed".
"All" that she "Is", The Biggest, Best and Divine Part of Her,
Was "Released" She is finally "FREE".

As soon as i walked into the funeral home,
i "felt" her "hold" me, like i "held" her toward the end.
i "heard" Her whisper, "you told me not to be afraid. And I wasn't".
"I'm Alive", "More alive than I ever was !
No More Pain, No More Suffering.
Just like you promised".

The closest people to Bev didn't "know" Her well,
At the end, many tried to "push" The Bible, Church
Some "Insecure God" and a "half ass Jesus" ,
that they don't even "know", on Her.
If they would have listened to Her, they may have been introduced
to the "Real God" She accepted, She really understood God's Spirit.
Toward the "End" she fought without complaining,
stronger than any man i had ever met.

Beverly was like all women, Desiring to Love and to Be Loved.
Maturing early, but not realizing that "most" men grow older,
but "most" "Never Mature". Always selfish little boys.
No Slam on men, Hell i know i'm one, just my observation...

Pregnant and divorced young,
She was a hard working devoted single mother of 2 children.
A beautiful, intelligent, creative artist, a gifted gardener
and blessed with a wicked dry sense of humor.

In the early 80's, after being alone for 25 years,
i was joking with her and told her she needed a boyfriend and to get laid.
Her discipline amazed me, she quit smoking, lost a "ton" of weight,
dyed her hair a "hot" strawberry blonde, got a new wardrobe,
learned to drive, bought a racy Monte Carlo, and found a boyfriend.

She had a good run, but again,
she was dealt a shitty hand of Love.
For the rest of her life, it was pretty much solitary confinement
of her own choice and she poured out her Love on our family.

i love Her and i'm going to "miss" her,
But in many ways i'm jealous ....

"To Live Is Christ... To Die Is Gain" . . .

"For I Am Finally Free, My Heart Is Spoken For" . . .
