"Observing ? Judging ? and Comments" . . .

A new friend of mine reminded me of how painful,
and potentially dangerous,
"Swordplay" can be . . .

A long, long time ago,
after a prolonged fast, i was seeking wisdom
for what appears to be contradiction
concerning mankinds "Curse" . . . judging.

Paraphrased by me ...

"Judge not, lest you be judged"

"The measure you judge by,
will be the same measure you're judged by"

"Pull the stick out of your eye,
before picking specks out of others eyes"

"Who are you to judge another man's servant"

"Are you not the judge, inside the church?
Let God judge those outside"

"Judge and expel the immoral brother"

"When we are judged by the Lord,
we are being disciplined"

And On and On it Goes . . .

The subject of judging and discipline bounces
"All over the Place"
It's no wonder we're confused, and don't trust
or allow anybody to get close to us.
There's "Always" something nasty to find in us.
So we hold it in, just dying inside,
worried if someone will find out the Truth.
All the while, HOPING someone will see the Truth
and Accept and Love us anyway. One Did !!!
But we keep judging, because the "Word", says so.

"The Wisdom" . . .

God told me, "DON'T JUDGE" !!!
i reminded Him about what Paul says in the Word
and God replied, Paul was a weak man, just like me.
Even though his words are considered scripture,
he had to wrestle with meaning and application, just like me.
Paul was constantly being judged by the Jews, the Apostles,
the new Church, the Gentiles and everyone he met,
that was his thorn.
God told me all that judging caused Paul to be very judgmental.
Paul was torn by pride and politics
in reconciling Jewish and Gentile believers, and church leaders.
It also inspired Paul to write Romans and Galatians
to clarify the progression from the foundation of salvation
to daily living and responsibilities, Grounded in Love.
We contain God's own Spirit inside us,
That makes us sons and daughters of God,
we are capable of Greatness, like our Father.
Growing up doesn't always mean maturity,
but we're learning, That's a Great start !!!

That's my 2 bits, you be the Judge, oops, we did it again !!!

"The Moral" . . .

"Kids, Be Careful When Handling Sharp Swords" . . .
