"Losing Religion... Finding Relationship". . .

I have a dream of a new church "structure"...
A place where "differences" would be welcomed
and a safe environment maintained
so that people could explore themselves...
Body... Mind... and Spirit...

and in doing so...
Find Healing...
Find Unity...
And ultimately...
Find GOD...

For are we not "Sons and Daughters of God" ? ? ?

"Religious Tyranny" . . .

I am convinced the time has come for believers in God
to fearlessly examine and redefine themselves...

Ceasing to be people with "conformed minds"
clinging to linear beliefs in fearful agreement...
Grounded In The Flesh...

It seems to me most believers belong to a...
"Exclusive Club"...
To be with others who believe the same thing they do.

What is it they believe???
Usually...
Whatever they're taught from their "holy scriptures"...

As it was in the past and is now present again...
leadership and teachers legitimize
"narrow-mindedness and prejudice"...

Creating religions for "chosen and loyal insiders"
and excluding anyone
that would challenge their teachings....
Always talking about being lead by the spirit ...
but keeping their flock "bound and gagged"
by using guilt, fear and insecurities.

Cults thrive on the insecurities of their followers...
They create a seductive environment
that seems to be loving and offer freedom...
But then proceed to chip away at the ego mind of an individual
until they are left confused, self-doubting and helpless...
Even questioning God Herself...

Followers are taught about spiritually surrendering to God
but end up surrendering to the leaders authority...

What appears as enlightenment is actually brainwashing.
Abuse of power has lead to physical and mental abuse in every religion.

Remember...

"Religion" is mankind's attempt to "Be Like God"
in the flesh...
with a "unregenerate mind"...

"Walking In The Spirit" is ...
"Knowing" who you are.... and...
"Being" like SomeOne...
Wanna "guess" ...
"WHO"... That is ???

"Free Yo Mind" . . .

Blogging has proven it to me...

People no longer feel safe and secure listening to
dogmatic or assmatic teaching and doctrines...

Religious, Political and Corporate hierarchies
are failing to inspire trust and faith in people anymore...

All (these) Things Must Pass... (prophetic Beatle again)...
and be replaced by compassionate teachings
grounded in Faith, Hope and Love...

Teachings that respect the "spiritual process"
of "EveryOne" seeking God...

Communities created to encourage truthful, heartfelt sharing,
"without judgment"....

A safe place where "EveryOne" worships just by
"showing up"
and having the "freedom"
to "creatively express" themselves
using "all the arts"...

It is not necessary for people to hold the same beliefs
to have "spiritual communion" with one another...
"Communion" occurs when we offer non-judgment and Love...
Just like "Our Father"...

Love. . .
Not "agreement". . .
Will be seen as the "bond" that was intended to hold
"The Body"... together...

Well... Then Again...
Maybe we could agree on "ONE" thang Alone...


So ahh...
