i'm going to talk about the end of The Matrix Revolutions...
Just got back from WillowCreek Church
with the wifey and daughter
and guess what the message was about ...
"The Matrix, Revolutions, The Choice To Love"!!!
With the money,technology and talent,
there's few Churches that put on a Show like Willow!
The lights,music and video were awesome,
sooo. On to the message...
Jarret Stevens, the teaching pastor is young, hip and street smart.
He was really well read on all the philosophy
in the trilogies and gave an excellent overview.
The focus of the message was based
on the final conflict between Neo and Agent Smith.
How Neo moved from experiencing Trinity's love
and belief in him that leads to his resurrection.
To his love and belief in her that leads to her resurrection.
Ultimately her choice and death that leads him
to sacrifice his life for everyone in Zion,
all very Christ like.
One comment i didn't agree with is
that Neo destroyed Agent Smith,
the way it looked to me is Neo stopped fighting,
chose to surrender to Agent Smith
and a Bright White Light filled every facade
and caused it to crumble leaving
only the Source, Bright White Light.
With all the talk on how Christian this movie is,
is this really what we believe ?
Could this be what Jesus really did ?
Surrender to Satan and become Sin not only to save
those who believe(Church/Zion),
All the Copied Agent Smith's(the deceived lost world)?
and Agent Smith(Satan) himself ?
They All Become White Light,
i would say that's returning to The Source.
When the Architect asks the Oracle
if she expected it to end this way,her reply was
" I didn't know, but I believed"
With all the Things we say we Know
and try to Do for God,
Maybe the Only "thing"
we are able to "Do" is Believe...
According to the Gospel of the Matrix,
that's a pretty powerful "Thing To Do"
Sometimes i wonder if God would ask us to do
something that appears that He's not willing to do . . .
