Sex, Make war, not Love . . .
i have some christian friends that i visit from time to time.
Most times instead of enjoying each others company
and talking to try to get to know each other better,
i get to take part in the fine art of T.V. Watching.

Now some christians believe in "Safe" t.v. and radio,
(not to mention "Safe" bookstores, plumbers,electricians,
painters, mechanics, doctors, lawyers and on and on) !

Other christians believe in exposing their kids to the "Real World"
and explain to them what God "Thinks"!
Both believe they're right and will argue for hours
(alright, all the time) to prove their point.
The friends i do "T.V." with are the latter and love Action Movies
(Rambo, Die Hard, Terminator, The Matrix (it's christian) )
you know the stuff.

Well it never ceases to amaze me, every time there's a scene
that's remotely sexual,
(hugging, kissing, feeling-up, simulated sex) you know the stuff.
They tell their kids not to look and fast-forward through it.
Now the scenes that contain outrageous violence (beating,shooting,stabbing,exploding) you know the stuff,
They let them watch that. Of course, after the movie
they tuck them in, tell them the blood and guts were fake
and it was just a movie, say a prayer
and whisper sweet dreams.

When i ask if we could talk about this subject, they usually say,
"No way, now that the kids are asleep,
you gotta check out this movie or video-game" !

Man, i just had a Revelation, maybe i am getting to
know my friends better . . .

Now, lets see, where did i put that
Porn tape . . .
Oops, you didn't hear that, did you ?
